One of my favorite things to do when hosting a dinner party is creating beautiful centerpieces & tablescapes. I like to add special touches to make our table sparkle and our guests feel special. I was so excited when Decors Veronneau approached me to create a Holiday table and I knew right away that I wanted to create something festive & elegant. Our main floor is an open plan and it was important to me that the tablescape marries perfectly with our Christmas Decor.
Centerpiece
My Christmas decor this year is filled with Magnolia foliage and my table was the perfect place to add some branches of white Magnolia flowers. I put together a garland style centerpiece using branches & sprays of Magnolia. I incorporated a few cotton ball ornaments to add texture & finished it off by adding some fresh Pomegranates to bring a pop color.
Key elements
When I create a tablescape there are a few key elements that I always include: Tealights to bring a warm and beautiful atmosphere, place cards to officially welcome every guest at the table & a little takeaway gift to remember the event and extend the memories. When I went to Decor Veronneau to select all the key elements I fell in love with these ornaments (1. & 2.). I knew right away that these would be the perfect take home gift for our guests and they would look great placed randomly on the table for everyone to take at the end of the night.
Place setting
Linen Napkins adorn with cute little reindeer rings sat on a set of classic white dishes and festive rose gold chargers. I used chalkboard place cards to bring a touch of farmhouse style and old fashion champagne coupe to add a touch glam. Last but not least, I decorated the coupe with pomegranate seeds to tie the whole look together.
So for those looking to up their table setting game, there’s no better time than the festive season to step things up a notch. Decors Veronneau has everything you need to create beautiful tablescape decor, garlands et final touches that will make your table sparkle.
